Names Michael Connolly as Vice President of Business Development, Europe

LONDON, UK. – 12th June, 2007 – Quova, Inc., the leading worldwide provider of Internet geolocation data and services, today announced that it has appointed Michael Connolly as Vice President of Business Development, Europe. Bringing over 20 years of experience within the IT software industry, Connolly will manage Quova’s European business development and sales teams, and will be responsible for building Quova’s partner channel within the region.

"Europe has increasingly become a prime market for Quova with a wide range of online organisations realising the benefits to be gained by using up to date and accurate IP geolocation data to reduce fraud and aid compliance," said Marie Alexander, CEO, Quova, Inc. "In Michael, Quova has found a thoroughly experienced campaigner who has the ability and understanding to drive sales through both new and established partners. Michael’s track record speaks for itself and we’re glad to have him onboard to help us grow our European operations."

Prior to joining Quova, Connolly held a variety of enterprise business application sales and management positions with several North American and European software vendors. As a Global Account Manager for Jonas and Ericcson Software, based in Toronto, Ontario, Connolly helped the first Canadian based software vendor of mid-range applications for specific verticals grow business at a compound rate of 40 percent and become the number one vendor in the mining and construction industries in North America.

Previously Connolly was Global Director of J.D. Edwards responsible for growing the company’s engineering and construction applications business, before moving back to London 2000 to lead the development of the Software as a Service (SaaS) concept in Europe after successful implementation in North America and Latin America.

"Fraud and compliance have become two of the most talked about IT topics across industry and Quova is extremely well positioned to help online organisations tackle both with timely IP geolocation data," commented Connolly. "The UK retail sector alone is close to facilitating £100bn worth of online transactions, demonstrating that the opportunities for Quova are almost limitless as business moves to the web. I’m very excited at the prospect of helping Quova ride this wave."

Connolly holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from The National University of Ireland and is an active marathon runner. His role is effective immediately and he will be based in the UK with regular European travel.
