Quova joins Oracle Identity Assurance Partner Alliance
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. – September 23, 2008 - Quova, Inc., the leading provider of Internet geolocation services and a member of the Oracle PartnerNetwork, today announced that they have joined the Oracle Identity Assurance Partner Alliance.
As an Enterprise Security & GRC Initiative member, Quova has the strategic market value to make a revenue impact. Quova is the only geolocation provider within the Oracle Identity Assurance Partner
Alliance.
Quova’s integration to Oracle Adaptive Access Manager allows immediate uploads of geolocation data to an Oracle Database repository. Once loaded into the Oracle Database, the geolocation data assists in
the identification of suspicious transactions by instantly and accurately determining the real-world location of a Web site visitor. Geolocation-based risk assessment helps enterprise merchants using
Oracle Adaptive Access Manager reduce their cost of fraud by improving detection rates and resulting in fewer false positives.
“Oracle is an important partner for Quova and participating in the Identity Assurance Partner Alliance is significant as it further demonstrates the value of the Quova and Oracle relationship,” said Bill
Varga, executive vice president of business development at Quova. “We’re proud to offer geolocation for the Oracle Adaptive Access Manager, which allows customers to identify and address online fraud
threats.”
