The Quova IP Repository
Quova’s geolocation methodology provides the most accurate data available, but we’re always working to improve it.
The IP Repository was created to facilitate data sharing from Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and Network Service Providers (NSPs). Many companies now provide Quova with geolocation data on their networks in order to ensure their customers are able to access properly localized Web content. Note that Quova does not accept personally identifiable information.
Quova uses the data provided in conjunction with our own research to provide our customers and thereby Service Providers’ customers the highest quality, most accurate IP geolocation data in the world. These little improvements can make a big difference for Internet end users. Quova welcomes the assistance of Service Providers to help in this matter.
There are two methods by which ISPs and NSPs can share details of their networks with Quova. One, individuals can review the geolocation information of their own IP address on our website to validate its accuracy. Or two, NSPs and ISPs can provide Quova with their network map to ensure accuracy on a large scale.
