GeoTraining is a day long, instructor-led class that is tailored to address each customer’s individual business needs. No in-depth technical knowledge is required, just basic web comprehension. Training classes can either be delivered at Quova headquarters or at your site.

GeoProfile Reports

Quova GeoProfile Reports can provide detailed research reports on individual IP addresses, complete with narratives from our expert GeoGeek team. The request for analysis of a particular IP address triggers a detailed manual investigation of that IP, and includes all the evidence Quova collected to assign the specific geographic and other information to the IP address in question. These reports are useful for forensic and criminal investigations, evidentiary claims, compliance management, and audit support.

Historical IP Address GeoProfile Reports

Sometimes, you are interested in an analysis of an IP address at a specific point in time. In these cases, Quova can go back several years (since 2002) and provide a report that includes all the evidence we used at the time the IP address was assigned a location in our database and when the first time that assessment was made. In some cases, we are even able to reconstruct the activity associated with the IP in the time just before and just after the time in question, which can show peaks in activity that may be useful in investigations. Using our seven years of historical IP geolocation data, Quova can assist investigators by generating information critical to resolving specific cases of fraud or other criminal activity.

Country GeoProfile Reports

When launching a new service or marketing campaign in a specific country, it’s often useful to know what the Internet landscape of that country is. Many things can affect how successful your business will be, so it is important to understand what the telecommunications infrastructure is and how traffic is routed, what the major ISPs are and what portion of traffic they serve, how the infrastructure will affect the confidence and accuracy of geolocation information, how most people connect to the Internet, and how widespread proxies are and how that affects traffic. Quova’s detailed information has helped companies validate or modify their launch plans and expectations in certain countries, and is an essential piece of planning new services in new countries

Historical Analysis

When doing retrospective traffic analysis, it is important to have data that represents the geolocation information that was when the traffic was active. Quova can provide several years of historical geolocation information to help you ensure that your analysis is accurate. This information is often used by our customers and partners to investigate incidences of past fraud and help predict and prevent incidences of future fraud.
